Democratic Party’s New Voter Contact System Now Online
Last week in a conference call with Democratic Party officials, bloggers including Lowell Feld of RaisingKaine, Jane Hamshear of FireDogLake and myself were introduced to a brand new voter contact tool on the Democrats official party website. For the past several weeks they’ve been testing it out in Kansas with eye-opening results, and now they’re ready to take it nationwide. With the help of this and the Obama campaign’s Vote for Change initiative, a million canvassers by election day 2008 is not out of the question. And, let’s face it, the best way to turn people out to vote is to convince them with their own friends and neighbors.
