Washington’s and Fredericksburg Region’s Future: 2025

Marc Fisher’s cover story in today’s WaPo Sunday Magazine is a must-read.

We’ll put it to you this way: If you believe what’s speculated, Fred2Blue Land is going to be a lot different in 2025 than it is, today.

  1. Eh, I found his “vision” of the future beyond far-fetched. It was rascist and propagated with a lot of conservative idealogy.

The second scenario was more or less Soylent Green’s plot without the people-eating.

  2. True, true…

And where are the flying cars powered by alternative fuel-sources?

  3. Those structures next to the Capitol looked positively hideous, something out of “War of the Worlds.” After seeing what happened to the World Trade Center, there is no way I would want to live or work in a structure that high off the ground. And according to the article, terrorism will still be around so such structures would be perfect targets. I’m keeping the article, though. It might provide a good yuck in the future.
