James Martin over at RaisingKaine points out that Albert Pollard has a whopping 7:1 cash-on-hand advantage over Lee Anne Washington. It’s no accident that all of the top tier Republican candidates declined to run against Pollard for the vacant House seat. The question now is, how much does he win by? (assuming voters in the 99th remember there’s an election next week) Volunteer Contribute
Albert Pollard has outraised his Republican opponent Lee Ann Washington by an impressive 2-1 margin: Pollard pulled in $149,544 to Washington’s $78,073. Washington must be having a heck of a time fundraising since 90%+ of her money comes from House Republicans and Republican Leadership PAC’s instead of individuals (whereas Pollard’s total is closer to 15%).
